My next startup

I’m always looking for disruption and my next start up is definitely one that i will cause chaos in the HR industry in africa. A lot of firms and companies haven’t embraced the concept of the paperless office where we reduce cost and waste by digitizing everything that can be done on paper.

My idea is focused on a web based job search for the travel and hotel industry in africa. These two industries have high rates of turn over so it makes sense for employers to be actively seeking qualified candidates as quickly and easily as possible, that’s where i am at this stage so i will provide futher updates when the ball is further along

Outsourcing

The idea of outsourcing projects is extremely attractive, especially if you are dealing with high technology with regards to mobile and internet apps. The problem i’ve found personally is there is no chemistry with the developer and i have to assume he will execute my ideas according to my vision, yet hiring someone in north America will cost you almost double what hiring someone in the middle east and india will cost. This is also due to the fact that the future of these developing countries relies heavily on technological innovation and infrastructure and am hoping Africa can take the same route as India did becoming a stand alone economy driven by the I.T industry.
